چکیده
Reductionism and splitting application domain into disciplines identify the smallest required model-granules, termed ”basic entity” combined with systematic construction of behaviour equations for basic entities, yields a approach to process modelling. We do not aim toward single modelling domain, but we enable address specific domains object inheritance. start reductionism demonstrate how entities are depending on targeted domain. use directed graphs capture models, introduce new concept, which call ”tokens” that enables us extend context beyond physical systems. The network representation is hierarchical so as complex interacting defined in leave nodes hierarchy, making overall model networks nodes. Multi-disciplinary multi-scale models result networks. two distinct communication ports, namely ports exchange tokens transfer information accumulators. An ontology captures structural elements applicable rules defines syntax establish equations. Linking behaviours alphabet graphical language. this language represent processes, has proven be efficient valuable. A set three examples demonstrates power Process Modelling framework (ProMo) implements ontology-centred uses construct models.

Ontology-Based Process Modelling for Design Optimisation Support1
The integration and reuse of simulation and process information is not wellintegrated into current development practices. We introduce a framework to integrate Multidisciplinary Design Optimisation (MDO) processes using ontological engineering. Based on a multi-disciplinary design scenario drawn from the automotive industry, we illustrate how semantic integration of process, artifact and simula...
متن کاملTowards a Visualisation Process for Ontology-Based Conceptual Modelling
Visualisation of models by means of graphical representations plays an essential role in tools. It assists users to understand them, relate their concepts and generate explicit, better usable and communicable knowledge. Additionally, it helps to perceive properties and patterns that have not previously been captured, identify problems about data and focus our attention on the domain being model...
متن کاملAn Ontology-based Approach to Conceptual Process Modelling
The development of mathematical models for process systems can start from conceptual modelling, which is defined as characterizing the process system to be modelled by physicochemical concepts. The resulting conceptual model serves as a basis to further derive a mathematical model. In this paper, we propose to develop conceptual models using an ontology that represents a conceptualization of pr...
متن کاملAn Ontology-Driven Process Modelling Framework
Designing, analyzing and managing complex processes are recently become crucial issues in most application contexts, such as ecommerce, business process (re-)engineering, Web/grid computing. In this paper, we propose a framework that supports the designer in the definition and in the analysis of complex processes by means of several facilities for reusing, customizing and generalizing existent ...
متن کاملEnterprise-Specific Ontology-Driven Process Modelling
Different process models are created within an enterprise by different modelers who use different enterprise terms. This hinders model interoperability and integration. A possible solution is formalizing the vocabulary used within the enterprise in an ontology and put this ontology as bases for constructing process models. Given that an enterprise is an evolving entity, the ontology needs to ev...
